OK OK

OK OK. looks like this thing ain't goin down. BUT just in the effort to convince y'all's parents I wanted to make two suggestions:

1) Tell them they can talk to me!

2) You should appear very informed, like you're totes on top of everything and have lots of contingency plans. So THAT MEANS you should have in mind a very specific itinerary.

OK here's the specific itinerary to use, we can obv modify this if need be but just having one is what's important for now.

So. Let's suppose the trip is June 8-10. We would all gettogetha at the greyhound bus station at around noon on the 8th. We would take the bus for four hours and take a taxi from the bus station to my grandfather's apartment. (we could also take the subway if they're comfy with that). We would stow all our stuff in his apartment and then spend the rest of the afternoon and night in Park slope. (we'd be on a budget so we could buy food at an outdoor market and have a picnic in the park before sunset) and then right around sunset we would go back to the apartment and chill and plan out specifics for the next day. OK then the morning of June 9 we would have a quick breakfast and get on the subway for manhattan, we would spend the morning at MOMA and the afternoon on seventh ave. (we would have maps etc.) that night we would see a movie in time square and immediately afterward (say 9:30 to keep it "safe") we would take the subway back to the apt. the NEXT day we would pack in the morning and say goodbye to my grandpa and then bring all our stuff by taxi to my mom's friend's house in manhattan. we'd go from there to the guggenheim and then have lunch in time square and then shop sommor around time square then go back to the friend's apt. pick up our stuff, go to the bus station and go home!.

BAM. so remember that and pitchit to ya parents.

AND REMEMBER 2 emphasize that we'll be adhering to a VERY specific set of plans + maps and stuff.
